Barn Sale

The Barn is almost complete. We are waiting on the sliding front doors. I can't wait to start filling it up with Antebellum Farmhouse finds. The Barn will be our new showroom and headquarters. Our first Barn Sale will be on December 7th and 8th, we hope you can stop by..more details to come.

Chester

Chester was right in the middle of the barn building process, usually covered in mud with a ball in his mouth.

Cupola

Rick Pickens built this beautiful cupola to top off the barn. It turned out just the way I imagined it.

Fergus the Farm Cat approves

This summer at Antebellum Farmhouse was all about building a Barn. This is not an ordinary barn, it is a very old barn built in the 1850's that we dismantled up near Lake Erie and moved to our property in Granville, Ohio. It was lovingly put back together beam by beam by two men, Rick Pickens and Tommy Baldridge. They came to us through John Yost of Yost Barns. They did an amazing job with a very difficult task. We are so thankful for these talented, hard working men... we couldn't  have done it without them.
