Antebellum Farmhouse will be at The Rural Society Antique and Garden Show in two weeks. The show runs Friday, October 14th, 9A-5P and Saturday, October 15th,9A-3P. We would love to see you at this amazing show. There will be great merchandise from a select group of talented dealers. The show is located in beautiful Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Latest Finds

I found this great Singer mannequin at a sale yesterday. The beautiful part of the story is that it was made for Lidia, the woman having the sale when she was 18. I guess if you sent your measurements to Singer Co. they would build the mannequin to match your body exactly. Lidia's mother sewed her clothes from this form. The waist is so tiny, I can wrap my hands around it. Lidia is a lovely lady and I found some wonderful treasures at her home. She blew kisses to all her items as I loaded them in my truck. Thank you Lidia, it was a pleasure.

We have been working on our kitchen here at Antebellum Farmhouse. We have not taken on any major renovation, just some sprucing up. I love our new gray walls and antique hardware store island.
